Classic Pan-Seared Veal Chop

  • 4 Veal Chops or Cutlets

  • Salt and Pepper

  • All-Purpose Flour for dusting

  • 2 tbsp Butter

🥣Instructions

1. Season the Veal with Salt and Pepper and dust lightly with Flour, patting off the excess.

2. In a large skillet, melt the Butter over medium heat. Add the Veal and cook, turning once, until golden brown, 4 or 5 minutes per side, depending on the thickness. Transfer to a warmed platter and serve.

💡Tips

  • Dusting the meat with Flour is not crucial, but it does help the chop or cutlet to brown nicely and keeps it moist.

  • Don’t cover the skillet or cook at a too low temperature or the meat will lose its juiciness.
