Classic Roast Beef
🛒Ingredients (Grocery List)
2-pound Roast Beef, such as eye of round, tied
2 tbsp Butter, softened
Salt and Pepper

🥣Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. In a roasting pan. Brush the Meat all over with the Butter. Season with Salt.
2. Transfer to the oven and roast for 25 to 30 minutes, turning the meat halfway through and basting several times with the pan juices.
3. Transfer the meat to a cutting board and remove the string. Season with Salt and Pepper. Cover loosely with foil and let stand for 10 minutes.
4. Carve the meat across the grain. Transfer to a warmed platter and serve, passing the pan juices separately.
💡Tips
The general rule for cooking a Roast Beef is 12 to 15 minutes per pound.
Serve with any kind of Potatoes.
You can make the pan juices more flavorful by adding a quartered Onion and a small, sliced Carrot to the roasting pan.
Halfway through cooking, pour a little hot water into the roasting pan.
